ABOUT

The Sports Star of the Year Awards recognizes and celebrates sporting achievements throughout the Goldfields region.

Awards are presented to:

Rising Star of the Award
Person with a Disability
Service to Sport
Masters Sports Star of the Year
Team of the Year
Sports Star of the Year

Each year, we induct a local sporting icon into the Goldfields Sporting Hall of Fame. Inductees are recognized for their outstanding contributions and achievements in sports.

Hall of Famers have their name immortalized in Historic Hannan Street, Kalgoorlie, where the local community can be reminded of our great sporting heroes.

Awards are presented at a gala dinner to be held on:
